What NOLOOSEGUARD is
NOLOOSEGUARD (by kells) is a mobile-first safety app for Nigeria. It is built for phone screens first and runs in any browser, so no download is needed.
Who it is for
People who want to know whether an area is safe before they travel, move, book a short let or send a family member somewhere — and businesses that want to reach those people. All 36 states and the FCT are in the system; areas go live as coverage and verified reports are added, so a place is never shown as safe just because nobody has reported there yet.
What it does
Safety map and area risk
Tap any state or local government area on the map to see its risk reading. Areas with too few verified reports show INSUFFICIENT DATA instead of a reassuring score.
Community reports
Anyone can report an incident, with an approximate-location option and no name required. Reports stay marked unverified until our staff review them, so nothing appears as confirmed unless we checked it.
SOS and trusted contacts
A swipe-to-confirm emergency button sends your name, phone and location to the people you choose, and logs an alert our team can see.
Alerts and updates
A live feed of verified safety alerts, plus curated news, security and community updates.
Places near me
Search hospitals, hotels, restaurants, pharmacies, places of worship, police and FRSC offices, salons, gyms and more, with distance, ratings and the safety reading of the area.
Rides with approved drivers
Where a service is active, you see the flat fare before you request, and only drivers we have approved and documents we have checked can take trips. Fares are paid in cash to the driver.
Health and wellbeing tools
A private mental-health check that stays on your device, a health question-and-answer guide, and a drink check that reads a barcode and tells you what it can and cannot prove.
What we sell
One thing: a home-page advert. Signing up and using every safety, places, health and ride feature is free. Adverts are billed in US dollars every 2 weeks — Individual $13 and Company $65 — and are reviewed by our staff before they appear. Your data
Reports are anonymous by default, you can choose to share an approximate location instead of an exact one, and you can export or delete your account from inside the app. The full details are in our privacy policy.
