Who you are contracting with
- NOLOOSEGUARD is operated by kelly Michael (the “seller”). By using the app you agree to these terms and contract with the seller.
- You must be of legal age in your country, or have authority to bind the organisation you represent.
The service
- NOLOOSEGUARD is a community safety app for Nigeria: safety maps, incident reporting, SOS, alerts, places, news updates and wellbeing tools.
- Safety information is community-reported and advisory. It is an assessment, never a guarantee of safety.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the service: no unlawful use, fraud, spam, or false emergency reports.
- Do not infringe others' intellectual property or privacy.
- Do not interfere with the service's security — no malware, probing, scraping or reverse engineering.
- Do not resell or redistribute the service or circumvent its technical limits.
Intellectual property
- The seller owns the service and its intellectual property, including the software, branding and documentation.
- You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app.
- Content you submit (such as incident reports) stays yours; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the service.
Payments and subscriptions
- Paid advertising subscriptions (Individual and Company plans) are sold through Paddle.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms: https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
- Subscriptions renew every two weeks until cancelled. Cancelling keeps your advert live until the end of the paid period.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Suspension and termination
- We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.
- When your account ends, your personal data is deleted as described in our privacy policy.
Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill).
- Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the previous 12 months. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law requires it.
General
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
